KATY II HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING AND IS ON A SLEEPOVER!
Update:  Little Katy has come back to us in the event that her adopted mommy has passed away. She is back in her original foster home and doing well but has some excess weight to shed. We hope to have updated pictures of our happy, happy Katy.

Katy II is a happy, happy dog - but if you want to make her even happier, take her for a car ride! She LOVES to go in the car! She also really enjoys her walks and in spite of the old injury to her hind quarters, she is a goer and her foster dad says she can run FAST! Wow! What a resilient little beagle! Katy II has a great time playing with toys too and is happy to engage her humans in the game as well. She does fine with the other dogs in her foster home and even gets along with the cat. If there is a family looking to give a little senior beagle a happy home, this is your girl. She will give back happiness to you a thousand-fold!

Katy II does need to be spayed and treated for heartworms before she is adopted and we will be scheduling that soon. The treatment plan of pain medication and supplements for her old injury appears to be working well.

New Arrival:  KATY II was found as part of a hoarding situation in rural Alabama.  We were originally told that she had a bad rear leg which turned out to be an understatement.  After xrays our veterinarian believes she was run over by a car and never treated.  The damage to her rear legs, hips and pelvis apperas to have happened a while ago.  Despite her injuries, KATY II, gets around quite well and is a Beagle full of happiness and love.

Our veterinarian does not feel surgey is a viable option for KATY II so her treatment will consist of pain medication and supplements.
