SNOOPY II IS ON A SLEEPOVER WITH A POTENTIAL ADOPTER!!
Update - Snoopy had developed a bit of a limp and went to our vet for an exam. He was diagnosed with osteochondrosis - basically his bones are not too good. Our vet prescribed some pain meds and Snoopy is doing much better - he is not the mellow fellow we thought he was. He has become a very active and playful little guy. He is always snooping about the yard and loves to run and romp with the other dogs in his foster home. We can always hope for improvement and we do have him on a nutritional supplement, but our vet advised that Snoopy should be allowed to run and play and do whatever he wants without restriction. Snoopy reminds his foster mom of this whenever she says it is time to come in!!
Update - Snoopy is doing great!! He is playful but really a very mellow fellow for as young as he is. he loves to be cuddled and makes little noises to let you know how relaxed and happy he is. He can sometimes be a little worried when being picked up - almost as if he is afraid of being hurt - but if you are gentle with him he will give you all his trust and love. Snoopy is in the same foster home with Abby and Bernadette and his video below shows him playing with both. He doesn't mind big dogs either. Snoopy sleeps quietly in his crate at night - in fact he's pretty quiet most of the time. His bark is a lovely beagle song when he does choose to vocalize. He is a precious little thing and the family that adopts him will gain a treasure for sure!
New Arrival: This little beagle boy is just the right size for a lap! He is settling in to his foster home wonderfully and, as he is a little submissive to the other dogs here, they are all willing to take him under their "wing" and show him the ropes! He has had a few tentative play sessions but he has only recently had his neuter surgery, so we are going easy on romping. He certainly shows all the signs of being a wonderful companion to another dog. Snoopy II is a little on the skinny side but has a nice shiny black coat and the cutest ticking on his legs. He is quite confident and happy to explore the yard but is already doing well at coming when he is called. He enjoys being in the house too and likes to be cuddled. As I type this he is curled up right against me. Snoopy Ii sleeps quietly through the night in his crate. We will have more to share later, but whoever adopts this little sweetheart is going to be soooo lucky!!!
