SKYE IS ON A SLEEPOVER WITH A POTENTIAL ADOPTER!

SKYE hasn't realized yet that she now has a wonderful life...but she will! She got a taste of it today with a bath to wash away all the dirt of her old life along with all the other indoctrinations of being a rescued dog. She is a very small little girl and tends to want to stay in safe places, like under a chair, but if you hold her on your lap and pet her gently she will relax and enjoy the attention. She did great with all the other dogs and definitely enjoyed her dinner. Skye's coat and skin show the effects of being a dog that has not been cared for in a while, and she has the non-contagious form of mange. But it is easily treated and we will soon have her on the road to recovery. She has been spayed, tested negative for heartworms and is now in her foster home settling in. We will keep you updated about her personality and temperament as she blossoms in an environment of love and safety. THE GOOD LIFE BEGINS NOW SKYE!!
