ADOPTION PENDING

UPDATE: We have just mailed off a Wisdom kit to determine what breeds are actually in Doodad! We have also enrolled him in a 6 week obedience class, but whatever time he has to attend before he is adopted will be well spent. He is very smart and learns quickly.

Doodad is a little youngster with a lively personality. He is a sweet boy with a tough guy persona but truthfully he's inexperienced and a little uncertain. He is quite playful with several of the other dogs in his foster family. He does occasionally chase the cats so would be best either in a home without cats or with cats who will let him know who's boss. Yes, he is maybe only a little bit beagle, but he was in a very crowded shelter and definitely in danger of losing his life, and we just couldn't resist that cuteness. Doodad is housebroken in his current foster home as long as he is on a schedule or can use the dog door to go out to a fenced yard. He does well being crated while his foster mom is at work but definitely expects a reward for going in there. He is a bit of a velcro dog and will definitely snuggle. He is actually pretty good on leash and he loves to carry around shoes but will not chew them. Doodad is heartworm negative and ready for a sleepover.
