ADOPTION PENDING

This is where Pookie wants to be - in your arms or cuddled up right next to you. She is  a little sweetheart who was rescued from a ditch when pregnant. Her rescuer took her right to the vet and they had to do an emergency C-section. Only one puppy lived but he is with us also - Briggs, now 6 months old. The kind rescuer kept them for a long time but decided he was just not the right home for the two of them, and got in touch with us. Pookie has just recently arrived in Florida and is doing great in her new foster home - she has picked out her favorite chair!  House training is going well and her leash skills are pretty good. She is heartworm positive but has finished her doxycycline so ready for treatment right away. She'll be able to go on sleepover by the end of the first week of February.
