ADOPTION PENDING
Hopkins is a peaceful little fellow and gentle as can be. He is quiet and very low energy, content to nap a good bit during the day. He loves to curl up in his crate or a comfy chair. Hopkins is amicable with the other dogs in his foster home, but they do not interact much. With people, Hopkins is very submissive and will crouch down when approached, but he accepts affection and very clearly enjoys it. He's a good walker on leash and comfortable outside, but inside things seem to be very new to him and he is completely unsettled by the television, even with the sound turned off. There are other commonplace noises which he finds concerning like the garbage disposal, the garage door opening, something playing on your phone or a drawer shutting. His foster family is working patiently to desensitize him to these. In spite of any nervousness, he is making straight A's in house training. Hopkins is heartworm negative. He recently had a dental and a cherry eye repair and is recovering well. He is a very handsome beagle and very easy to fall in love with.
