ADOPTION PENDING
Huck II is perhaps not a beagle but he has THE BEST temperament. He is very good natured and friendly with all the dogs he has met. He will definitely play if invited! He's done well with some cats too and also has been gentle with children (5 years and older). Huck is obsessed with lizards and will entertain himself for quite a while on a lizard hunt. He LOVES being out in nature, LOVES car rides and would LOVE a family who would want to take him places. His foster mom says he is very responsive when she calls him and he does not shy away from anyone. He is good about staying in his crate when the family is away at work. We are so glad we were able to make an exception for this "slightly larger than a beagle hound" and we feel sure that the family who adopts him will gain a treasure! Huck is heartworm negative, fully vetted and ready for a sleepover.
