Smooch is gentle and affectionate but a little uncertain and shy. He becomes much more confident if other dogs are around and can be quite playful with certain ones. Smooch will approach for pets but is very submissive, bowing his head and crowching his body. He has done very well with housetraining in his foster home as he quickly learned from the other dogs how to use the dog door. He has not marked in the house. He eats his meals and sleeps quietly in his crate at night.
