ADOPTION PENDING

Harper has been on a couple of adventures since you last saw her on our website. She went on an extended sleepover with a family who decided they could not afford her financially or emotionally as they thought she was just too unhealthy, and unfortunately we were not able to help them see that her issues could be resolved and were not that serious.  Harper has now been treated for heartworms and has had a hernia repaired and is recovering really well. She is still on activity restriction through the end of April, but she tolerates it quite well as long as she is not outside in a large area ...especially one with trees. We look forward to allowing her to engage once again in her favorite sport - squirreling! Harper does enjoy the outdoors but she is very relaxed and at home indoors. She likes a good cuddle and a nap, and when she curls up in a little ball she is so tiny! She is TOTALLY food motivated. We are confident there is a family out there who can give this sweet girl the love she so deserves.
