***NEW ARRIVAL!
Poncho had no business being a stray dog in a rural shelter unclaimed - he is just too cute!! He is also a very gentle little dog who is a tiny bit shy of people at this point but loves other dogs. We are very confident his shyness will soon dissipate as he is ready to trust people and give and receive affection if they are just patient and gentle...even a little kiss on the end of your nose.  He is so young to have been through the experiences he must have been through and there is so much good stuff for him to learn! Poncho is just getting settled in his foster home so we will have more to share in days to come. He did test negative for heartworms but we will need to get him to our wonderful veterinarian to be neutered and vaccinated.
