Alicia is a tiny little thing but so full of joy! Her back story is a bit of a mystery. She had been hanging out in a neighborhood for a week with people trying to feed her or get her to come but she was too frightened. Then along came a woman who had the knowledge and skills to communicate that she was not a threat and she managed to get this little sweet thing to come to her. Alicia had no chip or identification and no one was looking for her. Her finder contacted us as she could not keep her, however she learned that Alicia did fine with her Chihuahuas and her granddaughter who Alicia is named after. Alicia is now microchipped, fully vaccinated and tested negative for heartworms. Two veterinarians who have examined her could not determine if she's spayed or not, so we will have to just wait and see. If she goes into heat then we will have her spayed. We plan to do a dental cleaning soon and then she will be ready to look for her forever home. She's doing wonderful in her foster home and appears to be energetic, playful and loving.
