BONDED PAIR
***UPDATE*** Although Thelma is probably the more independent of the two, she is never too far away from Lucille. Thelma loves to explore, gaze up into the trees and “hunt” smells in the yard.  She also likes squeaky toys, which she will bury very adeptly in the yard. She does a great job of hiding them, but she generally remembers where they are for future play. Thelma is sociable with the other dogs in her foster home -- there are 6 besides her and her Lucille. She loves meeting new people and is energetic and enthusiastic about outings. On leash however she is a typical beagle and does not go in a straight line for very long. When her people sre gone, Thelma is quite content being crated with Lucille, and will sleep in the crate at night or relax there during the day.  If her people are home though, she prefers to be near them, crated or not. Thelma and Lucille have been be fed in the same crate (in separate bowls) with no issues.  Thelma has a cute little beagle howl but is mostly quiet. She's doing excellent with house training.

After a very long car trip from Baton Rouge, LA, Thelma III and her BFF, Lucille have finally arrived in Florida. Although perhaps a little uncertain of this new adventure, they have definitely been glad of each other's company. Both little Beagle girls have warmed up greatly to their chauffeur and Foster dad. He will be sharing more details about their personalities with us soon as they settle in at home. We do believe they are a bonded pair and would like to see them adopted together. We look forward to sharing more about Thelma and Lucille with you!
