POLLY IS ON A SLEEPOVER WITH A POTENTIAL ADOPTER!!
UPDATE: Polly's coat is looking SO much healthier and the thin and bald patches have grown in. She is a playful and affectionate little beagle and doing wonderfully in her foster home! We will have Polly spayed very soon and then she will be ready for adoption.
Polly came to us from Barrow County, Georgia with the help our friends, Lori and Kaylin. Polly is very outgoing and has a happy outlook on life despite her close encounter with death. She is a curious little beagle and likes to explore and check everything out that is in her environment. Polly has non-contagious mange (demodectic) and is missing much of her coat along the back of her neck and back. We will begin treatment and with medication and good nutrition she will soon have a healthy coat back. Polly also tested positive for heartworms and will need to be spayed when our veterinarian thinks she is ready. With Polly's cheerful and warm personality, we are sure she will make some family very happy when she is adopted!

Special Needs: Polly came to us with demodex mange, which is not contagious. However, until we clear up her mange we cannot spay and treat her heartworm disease. We hope that she will be ready for adoption bythe middle of April.
