HONEY II IS ON A SLEEPOVER WITH A POTENTIAL ADOPTER!
HONEY II's story would have the title "From The Bleachers To The Beach". She was spotted living under the bleachers at a high school footfball field in Louisiana, doing her best to survive. Lucky for HONEY II our friend Patty worked at that school and when she was made aware of the very skinny Beagle living under the bleachers, Patty went right into rescue mode, lured the little Beagle to her, took her home, gave her a bath and called SEBR. There was never a question if wewould take HONEY, but the next Loving Friends Transport was over a week away, so we collaborated to get the flea meds, heartworm meds and dewormer to Patty so we could get HONEY started on them before she arrived in Tampa. I am sure Pattyhad a tear in her eye when she handed HONEY II over to Laura on the transport and I'm sure that Laura had a tear in hr eye when she handed HONEY II over to me in Tampa.
Before she even arrive at SEBR we alreay had a family interested in HONEY. They recently lost their Beagle to cancer and they are fnds of oneof our volunteers. HONEY is on an extended sleepover with this great family, who lives In the Tampa Bay area.
So HONEY II made the trip from "The Bleaches to the Beach" with a lot of help from her friends.
