Benny is a happy boy - if his eyes are open, his tail is wagging! He was just welcomed into his foster home on Wednesday 2/14 and is already adjusting well to living with two active 9-year-old children and the resident male beagle. Potty-training is a work in progress, but Benny settled into his crate for the night and slept quietly, waking up only once for a potty break. He enjoys being outside and likes to go on walks. Of course he perked up when he saw a squirrel and his nose immediately went into tracker-mode. Benny would definitely love a yard to explore. During walks, he pulls a bit on the leash, but the children are easily able to walk him. He seems to love snuggles and being petted. He’s been great with the other dog, but seems more drawn to people than dogs. Benny is heartworm positive and treatment will be scheduled mid-March. He will make a sweet addition to any family.
