ADOPTION PENDING
We aren’t sure what Dutton’s life has been like up until now, but we are quite certain that it did not involve dental care. Dutton doesn’t have a whole lot of teeth but he does have a whole lot of love to give. He enjoys snuggling with his foster mom on the couch, jumps up on the bed (it's allowed), follows her around the house, and plays with the resident Bassett Hounds. Please be sure to check the video of this happy and vivacious senior! Because of the state of Dutton's teeth, the vet was unable to give us a very good age estimate but we are sure he is near the senior range. Dutton is very food motivated, but mostly eats soft food or kibble soaked in water. He’s doing great with housetraining, uses the doggie door, and walks nicely on a leash. He doesn’t really get into any mischief around the house and only barks when it’s feeding time or play time. Dutton will be treated for heartworms the first week of January and should be ready for a sleepover soon after that.
