ADOPTION PENDING
Doobie is a FANTASTIC little beagle mix who loves laps and car rides! He came to us from Alabama and is doing great with housetraining and with other friendly dogs his size or smaller. He can be a very leary of ones larger than him and can even respond in a reacitve manner. He pretty much has a beagle appetitite but doesn't bark much - except when left in the crate. We wouild be hopeful that with a little crate training (positive association with being in the crate, i.e. food!) he will like it better. Doobie is just a love and will jump right up into your lap to be cuddled. He definitely has a beagle nose and can pull quite a bit on a leash. We would love to see Doobie get a fenced yard where he can run - however, he is still recovering from heartworm treatment the first part of December so his activity level needs to be restricted for a while longer. He is okay on leash with a harness but he is very enthusiastic and definitely wants to smell a lot. He will certainly react to a squirrel! Doobie is ready to find his forever home and someone will be so lucky to have him!
