ADOPTION PENDING

POPPY came to us from Georgia and she is definitely a sweet peach of a beagle.  Clearly she was neglected in her previous life but in spite of the neglect, she is a gentle little girl who is friendly with everyone she meets.  She came to us with a hernia that has been repaired and was diagnosed with a slightly enlarged heart which may acount for her laid back demenor. Needless to say she is enjoying regular meals and heads straight for her crate and sits patiently waiting anytime she thinks there is a possibility she will be fed.  So far she has received A+ with potty training and house manners.  At night she sleeps quietly next to her foster parents bed. Poppy has the sweetest most imploring look that she gives you when she wants to be petted and really appreciates any attention she receives.  
This gentle little beagle girl is going to be a wonderful companion to the family who adopts her.
